Ulrike Ackerman "Ricci" is a fourth generation herbalist and aromatherapist from Germany whose approach to herbalism is drawn from the healing traditions of various earth based cultures.  The medicine ways of her ancestors were taught to her by her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  They shared their knowledge of the traditional uses of plants and herbs with her and revealed their traditions in plant energetics.

Ricci Ackerman is a therapeutic clinical herbalist, certified aromatherapist and reflexologist.  Ricci provides individual consultations and leads herbal education seminars for people who wish to improve their health and sense of well-being.  In her practice, she combines her practical knowledge with the traditions in plant energetics taught to her by her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Ricci has written numerous articles, teaches and lectures in the field of wellness education, using the ancient art of herbalism.  She has presented at venues such as AliveExpo, Dunwoody Nature Center, American Herbalist Guild, Emory University, Kennesaw Lifelong Learning, as well as numerous women’s groups. 

She is a member of The American Herbalist Guild, United Plant Savers, Indie Network, NAHA, and previously served as President of the Many Horses Foundation.
