Ricci offers a series of informative workshops on herbs and aromatherapy on an ongoing basis.  Come for one or all of the workshops.  Call Ricci Ackerman at 770-928-1453 for more information and to register for current classes.  Special group sessions can be arranged.

Private Sessions

Health & Wellness Session: Individual sessions are available by appointment.  Initial appointments for health and wellness are typically one and one-half hours.  Clients complete a health assessment document prior to the appointment. 

Reflexology Sessions: by appointment.  Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes.

Classes

Backyard Weeds for Health This workshop will cover common “weeds” which can be used for well-being and a variety of health issues.  Learn which weeds are medicinal herbs and how to use them for first aid and in your diet.   

Kitchen Cosmetics — Learn the uses of common ingredients that can make your skin glow.  Dry skin, oily skin and problematic skin issues will be covered.  

Home Medicine Chest — This class covers the fundamentals of making your own herbal supplements in the form of salves, tinctures and teas.  Both lecture and hands on, you will go home with a product you make during class.   

Natural Household Cleaners — Learn to make your own household cleaners that are not toxic.  Inexpensive alternative with disinfecting  ability. 

Treat Your Feet Enjoy the ancient art of foot baths.  Combining aromatherapy and herbs, you will learn to make your own foot bath blends.  You will make two essential oil blends and two  herbal blends.    

Fundamentals of Herbalism This is a 6 week series of workshops designed to cover 15 herbs.  You will learn how the herbs work, and how use them for wellness. 

Herbs for the Holidays Class covers uses of herbs for the holidays - from holiday cooking to scenting your home naturally.

Elixirs & Cordials This is a hands on class making herbal elixirs, honeys and cordials.
